Marzano Italian Grill

This Italian Restaurant has to be indisputably the best in York for its food and ambience. Dining here recently, whilst on our first visit to York left us with an incredible experience. They have a great menu of food, drinks and cocktails The staff were attentive , courteous and helpful. Just as the City is Historic, so this Italian Grill has a Victorian Charm about it! I would highly recommend it.

I came here with my family to celebrate a birthday, all the staff were really nice especially our waiter David who managed to remember my mum from when she went there a few months prior. I will say I wish their vegan pastas had a bit more variety, however I had the vegan pizza which was very nice. Everyone else enjoyed their meals and they put birthday candles in our desserts which was sweet, the restaurant has lovely decor.

I went here for lunch and was very impressed. The food was excellent and didn't take very long to come. There were a variety of gluten free options available which was very good. They also allow you to make any pizza into a calzone or vice versa. The service was also really good as well and the atmosphere is was nice as well. The price for food is also very reasonable. I would recommend going here and would suggest making a reservation beforehand as it did get quite busy.
